We had SUCH a blast in Downtown Knoxville for a little staycation weekend! My dad just turned 60 so we wanted to do something special to celebrate!
On Thursday afternoon, we arrived at The Hyatt on Gay Street to check in and get our luggage up to our rooms. We then headed out to Chivo (our current FAV). Their Chivo Marg is SO GOOD & the Brisket Burrito (no onion or jalapeños) is my fav order there (Luke and Dad got that too!). My mom got the Chicken Quesadillas which is another favorite of mine. If you are local you HAVE to go because it is soooo yummy!
On Friday, first we started the day with breakfast at Pete’s (A Knoxville classic). We walked around downtown, went in several stores and then we went to happy hour at Five Thirty Rooftop Lounge/Bar. Then we went to dinner at Vida, which was VERY good!
On Saturday, we went to brunch at Tupelo Honey, next we went to happy hour at Radius Rooftop Bar and then we enjoyed dinner at Downtown Grill and Brewery. We were going to go to Stock and Barrel, but the wait was crazy long. After dinner we decided to treat ourselves for some ice cream at Cruze Farms!
XOXO,
