With baby #2 on the way (due in early December ’22), I’ve received questions about what we used for Liam and what we plan to use for baby brother. I’ve included our all-time favorite products below and have explained why we love them so much!
Most Loved Baby Products
UPPAbaby VISTA Stroller and UPPAbaby MESA Car Seat: We absolutely LOVE this duo and decided on the color Bryce (super light grey). Looking back, I wish we would have selected a darker color because the light grey does get dirty. The UPPAbaby MESA car seat is for infants 4-35 lbs. and up to 32 inches in height. It installs in seconds and has a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 5-star rating. The adjustable headrest with side impact protection keeps your baby’s head stationary during a side impact collision and the soft, breathable fabric keeps your baby cool. The car seat easily connects to the UPPAbaby VISTA stroller base. The stroller can be configured in multiple ways to make room for baby #2 on board. The stroller is lightweight, has puncture-free wheels and gives your baby a smooth ride. The stroller also comes with a Bassinet + a Toddler Seat for babies 3 months to 50 pounds.
Dock-A-Tot: Liam used the Dock-A-Tot a ton. I am also wanting to get a Snuggle Me Organic lounger for baby #2.
Mamaroo: Love love love this swing for the newborn days! Has 5 unique motions that bounce and sway just like you do when comforting baby. We also bought these infant inserts for the first few months.
4moms Pack & Play: We take this on every trip and have had SO much use out of it. It is super easy to assemble.
Solly Wraps: I “wore” Liam constantly those first few months. The baby wraps were an absolute GAME CHANGER for getting things done around the house and it helps that they are stylish!
Ergo Baby Carrier: When we needed something a little more heavy duty when carrying Liam, we used the Ergo Baby Carrier and got TONS of use out of it.
Highchair: We have and love the 4moms highchair. We also got this Chicco portable highchair and take it on every trip with us! It’s worked great.
Halo Bassinet: We actually bought our bassinet slightly used from a friend. It worked really well for us to have in our bedroom Liam’s first year. I was in between the Halo and the Snoo. Ultimately, I am so glad we went with the Halo because I’ve heard it can be extremely difficult to transition a newborn out of the Snoo due to all of it’s features.
Hatch Baby Rest Sound Machine: Luke and I have a Hatch sound machine in our room too and absolutely love it! We love this one because it has lots of different settings such as light and sound options. We always have it on the white noise.
Crib: Grabbed our crib from Walmart and it’s done the job and matches the rest of our nursery furniture. You can read more about our nursery HERE.
Mattress: The 100% breathable Newton mattress is worth every penny for baby’s sleep safety.
Hatch Baby Changing Pad: This changing pad is awesome because it weighs your newborn if you want to keep track.
Baby Monitor: We actually have and love two baby monitors. We have the Owlet Baby Monitor that connects to your phone as well as the Eufy. Both are great for different reasons!
Breast Pump: I mainly used the Spectra breast pump that was free with our insurance, but I also had the Evie for on-the-go sessions and really enjoyed it!
Bottles: We used the Comotomo bottles. Liam was exclusively breastfed for about 7 or 8 months and most of that time he took from the boob. He didn’t really start using bottles on a regular occasion until around this time.
Diaper Bag: I have this Freshly Picked diaper bag in black and beige & absolutely love it. So chic and goes with any outfit! Also very spacious and has lots of compartments.
Frida postpartum kit: I used Frida postpartum kit throughout the postpartum journey!! It is truly amazing and it comes with everything you need! The icepacks are a LIFE SAVER!
Owlet Sock: The Owlet Sock is absolutely incredible as it tracks baby’s oxygen and heartrate. Talk about a new mama’s peace of mind!
Humidifier: We use the Fridababy humidifier every night for Liam! Also when baby is sick, you can also put the nose drops into the humidifier and it helps clear out congestion.
Nose Frida: The Nose Frida is truly a life saver! I was skeptical at first, but it works wonders to get all of the mucus out. Babies don’t understand to blow their nose, so this is a must-have for sure.
XOXO,
