Our Favorite Game Day Dips

Are you all watching the Super Bowl this Sunday? If so, I thought this would be the perfect time to share my two favorite tailgate (or any time really) DIPS! Captain Rodney’s Dip is a dip that EVERY party needs to have! It is soooo yummy! One of our best friends (S/O to Caroline McClean ILY)  introduced us to this dip and we are *addicted* now!

PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES | COOK TIME: 15 MINUTES | SERVES: 12

INGREDIENTS:

-1/2 cups of your favorite mayonnaise

-8 ounces of cream cheese at room temperature

-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

-2 whole green onions slices thin (can use less if you like)

-1/3 cup of Ritz Crackers Crushed

-8 slices of bacon cooked and chopped or you can use bacon bits

-1/2 Captain Rodney’s Boucan Pepper Glaze or your favorite pepper jelly

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. For easier mixing, allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature.

2. Mix together the mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheese, and green onions.

3. Spread in an 8 or 9-inch pie dish. Top with crushed butter crackers.

4. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until heated through.

5. Remove from the oven and top with cooked, crumbled bacon and Captain Rodney’s Boucan Glaze. Serve with sturdy crackers, tortilla chips, or scoops.

Another dip we LOVE is Buffalo Chicken Dip! I have never met someone who doesn’t like this dip. This one is perfect for someone who doesn’t have a ton of time to work on something because you throw it all in the crockpot then your basically good to go! PLUS, It’s only 5 ingredients!

PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES | COOK TIME: 1 HOUR | SERVES: 12

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound of chicken shredded (if your really in a rush you can use canned chicken but, it is soooo much better with shredded chicken)

-8 ounces of cream cheese cubed

-1 cup of ranch dressing

-3/4 cup of Frank’s Red Hot Wing Sauce, you can always had more if you want more spice.

-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Place all ingredients into slow cooker and heat on high for about an hour stirring occasionally, until everything is melted.

2. Mix really well, serve with Tostitio’s scoops. (Turn heat to low or warm while serving)

TIP: Use these crockpot liners to make clean up soooo easy! Just take the liner out and your done! I will not use my crockpot without these!
