BABY GRAHAM coming September 2020!! We are simply over the moon and already love this child with our whole entire hearts! Thank you Lord for blessing us in the most special way as Mommy and Daddy.
When did you find out you were pregnant?
January 17th, 2020
How many weeks pregnant are you right now?
10 weeks! I’ve been dying to tell you guys!
How did you find out you were pregnant?
Luke had already left for work the morning I found out. I decided to take a pregnancy test shortly after he left. It was POSITIVE. I took two more after that and they were all, of course, positive too! I then went into work and paid a visit to our Wellness Center to take a urine test AND blood test with them to confirm. They were all positive. I couldn’t believe I was PREGNANT!
Did you have any early pregnancy symptoms before you found out?
Yes! I started having period cramps (very faint) several days before my period was supposed to start and this never happens.
How did you tell Lukey you were pregnant?
Not in a special way at all.. LOL he came home from work that day and I immediately said, “Babe! Come in here.. I’ve got to show you something!” I showed him the positive (first) pregnancy test and he couldn’t stop saying, “Are you serious?! Are you just kidding!?” We then hugged and kissed and cried a little. 🙂
When did you tell your all’s parents?
Immediately! We went over to my parents house that night and shared the big news. Mama almost fainted she was so excited and Dad couldn’t stop smiling! Thankfully, we were actually headed to Nashville to see Luke’s family that night so we got to share the news with them too! Everyone is very excited.
Do you want a boy or a girl?
We TRULY do not care at all. We’d love to experience both genders at some point.
How are you feeling?
I’ve honestly been very lucky this first trimester. I can’t believe it’s almost OVER! I’ve been going to bed around 9 pm every night and am still exhausted by the end of the day. I haven’t actually gotten sick (I am SO lucky for this), but I’ve gotten pretty close a few times.. I have dealt with slight nausea and fatigue.
Is Lacie excited to be a big sister?
YES! She has been laying her head on my tummy and it’s precious. We SWEAR she knows.
Were you trying for a baby?
Yes! I have thanked the good Lord above for this blessing more times than I can count. We are so lucky that we got pregnant quickly as I know so many couples who deal with infertility. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
I have wanted to be a Mama my whole life and my dreams are coming true with baby Graham. I can’t wait to take you guys along this journey with me and my family. We’re so thankful you all are following along and we were SO excited to share our news with our friends. September can’t get here soon enough!!
