Kristen Raye’s Wishlist

I teach a 4th grade Inclusion and EL (English Language) class of 24 (so far, prob will have 28 by the start of the school year in September!) and I also mainstream TASC students which is a therapeutic and social emotional classroom; in addition to my students I have 1-2 TASC students that practice over time gradually coming into a regular size classroom.

I buy all school supplies for my students and classroom materials each and every year! Enough so they can have materials in the classroom and also appropriate materials at home to be successful! If anyone is able to help support us, anything would be helpful! I can’t thank you enough for thinking of us! My students and I will put all materials to great use.

Ashley Simpkin’s Wishlist-

I am headed into my 7th year teaching, I am a teacher at a local elementary school in Northern Indiana. I am in the technology lab for grades K-5th grade. This year we are as well adding a stem lab to my classroom. I am beyond excited for this opportunity, I have been working on it for years. As you know many teacher friends put a lot of their own money into their classrooms. I am not one to ask for help, but would be forever greatly for this opportunity!

Emily Ayer’s Wishlist-

I graduated from UTK in 2017 and 2018 with my masters, and I currently teach just south of Franklin!  I teach middle school Spanish and I’m entering my 5th year 🙂
I am a Kindergarten teacher in a title 1 building in a small Southeast Kansas town. Each year I have roughly 20 sweet 5 year olds enter my classroom. This is my 9th year teaching and my 3rd year in a kinder! There’s something magical about seeing their sweet faces light up as they begin their educational career. Early Childhood is near and dear to my heart, and I believe that kids learn best through genuine experiences with their peers! I love how much they learn through interacting with each other and learning about the world around them. It’s absolutely amazing to see the growth they make in one short year.
My wishlist is composed of all kinds of things that will promote positive learning experiences; STEM projects, flexible seating, learning games, and most importantly a wide variety of diverse books! I would be honored if you shared my list with your followers. Thank you for your consideration!
Thank you for creating this opportunity for teachers to send you their wishlists. The past 2 years have been so challenging, so I truly appreciate you giving back to the teachers in your community. We thank you!!
Although I’m from here, I choose to leave town and I graduated Tenn. Tech University with a special education teaching degree in 2018. I’m a 6th grade special education teacher here in town. I have about 30 students on my caseload each year- all with a variety of disabilities ranging from learning disabilities, sensory disabilities, behavioral disabilities. I conduct a lot of parent data meetings, travel between rooms, and have classes in my own room. I am fortunate to not need a lot for my sweet kids between the years, but I do have a small list if you are interested. I thank you again for your consideration!
I am a second year teacher at a Title I school in Chattanooga, TN (not too far from you in Knox hehe!!!) I teach second grade and myself and my students would benefit greatly from the items on my lists. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. I love seeing influencers help teachers out!
First of all thank you so much for doing this for the teachers!!! It means so much to all of us. I’m going into my third year teaching Kindergarten in Boise, Idaho at Grace Jordan Elementary. We are a Title One school here in our community. I love what I do and all the little support helps so much!
My name is Sarah Sanger. I have a 1 year old son and currently 29 weeks pregnant with baby #2! I teach 1st grade in the suburbs of Metro Detroit, Michigan, and I absolutely love my job and being able to help other people’s babies grow academically, socially and emotionally while they are in my classroom. I put together a wishlist of some items that I know will be put to good use in my classroom to create an inviting and fun space for my littles.
This is a dear friend of my husband and I, she is a third grade teacher at Lenoir City Elementary!
Hi my name is Kara Teague. I live in Louisiana! I teach at a small, rural, public, title one school. I teach 1st grade and will be going into sixth year of teaching this year! I graduated college from Louisiana Tech University (go dawgs ). This year I’m looking forward to expanding my classroom library and offering more flexible seating options for my first graders! Thank you for your support!
I have a toddler about Liams age. She’s 20 months old and her name is Rori. I’m also expecting a baby boy at the end of Aug! Right at the start of the new school year (*stressed*). Im a First Grade Teacher in Lake Jackson Texas, just south of Houston. So I have about 20 kiddos that I love and worry about along with my own two babies! I appreciate your support for teachers and thank you for the happy, positive light you provide so many on social media!
I’m a first grade teacher at Dutch Valley Elementary School and will be starting my official 3rd year! I work at a very low income school and the students are thankful for anything that we receive! I love my students and try my best to provide them with the best. Thanks for the support!
Hi! I am a first year teacher, I will be teaching pre-k in Anderson County! I need so much considering I’m a first year teacher!! I’d love to provide my students with everything they need!
I am an 8th grade math teacher going into my fourth year of teaching! I have been blessed to have my supplies hold up well the first three years, but they are in desperate need of replacement now! Everything on my list will help make my classroom the safe, warm, and welcoming environment students need to succeed in a subject that normally causes several students anxiety! It is my goal to not only make math accessible to all, but also fun! These resources help me do just that.  Thank you so much for being willing to help our teachers!

Most importantly I am a wife and a mother of 2 boys 20months and 4 months old. I am a 5h grade math teacher at Hardy Elementary School in Chattanooga,TN.

Hardy Elementary is a title one school with an amazing group of students. I have been working there since I graduated from UTK , GO Vols , in 2018 with my masters.
Thank you for taking the time to look at teachers’ wish lists. Every year we desperately need items that are often paid for out of pocket as supply lists and school funding can only do so much when crating a welcoming environment for students to thrive. With this list I have a goal of creating a library space that encourages students to feel welcome and dive into a book!
I am a Reading specialist at Colonial Heights Elementary in Stockton, CA.  I work with students that struggle with reading in their classroom.  My approach is hands on, multi sensory activities to engage students and make reading fun.
I am a first grade teacher at a Title 1 school in Pennsylvania. A lot of my students, as well as my school, cannot afford things for school and classrooms. My mission is to make my classroom feel like home away from home – a safe and fun place where all students feel welcome! A lot of the items on my list will help to do just that, as well as learning materials and games to keep my students engaged!
Kindergarten teacher at Rocky Hill in Knoxville 🙂
My name is Hannah and I am a kindergarten teacher in Jeff County! I am going into my 6th year and am starting at a brand new school (actually at the elementary school I went to).
This is only my 2nd year teaching kindergarten after teaching 3rd grade for 4 years. I have wanted to teach kindergarten since the beginning of this journey, and I finally feel like I’m where I belong! I have loved this age and seeing how much they grow in such a short amount of time. They are curious and fun, and they love to explore.
Beyond all the curriculum we have to teach, I truly want my students to always feel safe and loved when they come in my classroom. I know not all students have stable home lives, so I want to be stability for them. My desire is for my classroom to feel comforting and homey, which is why I place a lot of importance in decorating and having alternate seating for students. I also love books, and I know that fostering the love of reading in children when they are young not only increases their vocabulary, but it allows them to learn how to pretend and imagine, and just be a kid! I also believe in learning through play. Students, especially young students, need to be able to strengthen their fine motor skills and learn how to play. Above all else, I want to teach my kids how to be good humans. I want them to learn how to be kind, compassionate, and generous people. I want them to experience what it means to have an adult who cares about them and wants to see them succeed. I want them to see Jesus in me. If I’ve done those things, even if they never learn anything else, I will be honored.
I work as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing teacher in Dalton, GA. My students range in age from 3-21 and all have some degree of hearing loss. I travel around the county daily serving my students where we focus mainly on language and listening skills (things like vocabulary, writing, auditory memory, comprehension, etc.). While I love being an itinerant teacher, I get no “classroom allowance” since I’m not based in one specific school. Any materials I buy for my students come out of my own pocket. I’m attaching my Amazon wishlist and would so appreciate any support! The items on my list would allow me to target so many specific skills in a fun and engaging way for my students.
I am a high school teacher in Tampa, FL. I teach at a title 1 school with the highest homeless population in the county. I teach students on access points (students with cognitive disabilities: autism, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, students with limited physical mobility, etc.) & I am also the head of our special education department at my school, as well as a case manager & volleyball coach. I love what I do & I love my students so so much.
I’m what my sweet kiddos call the “library teacher”. My name is Emily Swearingen and I’m the school librarian at Brickey-McCloud Elementary in Knox County Schools. I love helping our sweet littles find a new story they just love and encouraging them to explore new interests. Our staff serves about 900 students, and we just love our Brickey Bears. I’m working on creating an environment that is safe and welcoming for our kids. In addition, my goal for this year is to develop some fun reading incentive programs that make all students feel successful.
This is my 7th year teaching 6th grade. However, this school year I will be moving districts. The goal of my wishlist is to create a home-vibe in my classroom. My students and I spend a majority of our time in the classroom so it is important to give off a loving, safe, and mature feel.
I’m am a 4th grade teacher in a small town just outside of Knoxville.
This will be my first year in my own classroom (I’m going to need ALL of the wine). Last year I filled in as a permanent sub for a teacher who was out on maternity leave. The town where I teach is a rural-ish community & the majority of our students are on free/reduced lunches because of their families financial situations.
I am humbly asking for helping stocking my classroom. Even the purchase of one thing off of my list would mean the world.
I am a 5th grade teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia. I work at a title 1 school, which means most of our population lives in poverty. This will be my 9th year teaching, and my second year in 5th grade! I have the best students, families and coworkers and feel so lucky to be where I am!
I am a first year SPED Prek teacher in Kingsport TN! I have my bachelors in childhood development and my masters in special education.
I am a PreK-4 teacher going into my 3rd year of teaching! I currently live in Newnan, GA but was born and raised in Knoxville. I miss Knoxville dearly, but I love following you and your growing family on Instagram! I teach at a very small church preschool so we don’t have a lot of funds and the majority of my classroom supplies and books come out of my pocket! I started my teaching career in 2020 and as you can imagine starting a new job during a pandemic was a bit overwhelming. I have made this Amazon wishlist over the past year as I have learned more about what my kiddos and our school need! I am so excited to start this new school year with a new group of children. I want nothing more than to create a warm, welcoming, classroom for each of them! Any support is appreciated more than you will ever know. Prayers for a successful school year!
I’m not a teacher, but I am a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for grades PreK-6. This is my second year working in the schools and I have had to purchase all of my therapy materials. With such a large caseload and students across different grades, there’s a lot of materials that are needed. I would love if you can share my Amazon wishlist so I can better support the needs of all my students!
I am a 4th year teacher. I have been kindergarten for the past 3 years and now moving to 3rd grade this coming year. I teach in a town right outside of Knoxville called Kingston. Thank you for all that you do. I have been following you ever since you started influencing!  You keep it real, are always encouraging, and truly are killing it in life!
My name is Mollie Abell, and I graduated from UT Knox in 2017. I now teach 9th grade English at Whitehaven High School in Memphis, TN.
I am very biased, but my students are some of the best in Tennessee. My classroom is centered around an inclusive and welcoming environment. I never want a student to not complete work or feel unprepared because they don’t have a pencil. (Which happens quite often.) I try to make my students feel supported and empowered in my classroom.
On my wishlist, I have asked for pencils and pencil sharpeners, which are the highest priority for my classroom. I have also asked for copy paper, due to having to use my personal copy paper in order to make worksheets. Lastly, I have asked for a few decor items so that my students can come in to a nurturing environment.

Hi! My husband and I are both 1st grade teachers and of course don’t get paid over the summer and have 2 little boys at home with us so we would love any help we can get with our classroom wish lists for next school year. We are excited to start another year helping our students become life-long learners and leaders!

I’m a head start and GSRP preschool teacher in Howell Michigan. Most of my students are low income/at risk. Im about to start my 6th year of teaching in August and I’m looking to add some new supplies/toys for my classroom centers and to help create a positive and exciting learning environment for my students. As we say in preschool “play is our favorite way to learn”
I teach at Grand Oaks Elementary in Clinton, TN. I’m starting my 10th year teaching and would love any help you’re able to give!

Alison Nobles Wishlist-

My name is Alison Crosby and I teach 1st grade at a small, Title 1 school in South Mississippi. This will be my 6th year teaching and my third year teaching 1st grade. I am still building my primary classroom with needs and supplies that will encourage 1st graders to be actively engaged in learning. I have bought majority of the things for my classroom for the past 5 years but since having a little one of my own, my budget has shifted. My students and I would be grateful for anything that is gifted to us for our classroom!! Thank you Laura for using your platform to help teachers out!!

My name is Alyssa Gates and I am a 9th grade English teacher at Hardin Valley Academy in Knoxville, TN! It will be my second year teaching and I am so excited. I’m my classroom, I really aim to help students find out who they really are and share how learning can be fun. It is so neat to watch 9th graders transition from little middle school babies into high schoolers with a vision on who they want to be in life.

My name is Morgan and I am a 4th grade teacher in Baldwin County Alabama! I teach at a small, sweet little school, Delta Elementary. This is my 7th year teaching and after seven years I am choosing to update my classroom decor!

This year, I am pregnant with mine and my husband’s first and we couldn’t be more excited! Trying to juggle a nursery at home and updating my classroom has definitely been a huge task to take on, so I could use all the help I can get!
I am from Gautier, MS currently preparing for my first year of teaching at College Park Elementary. I will be a 1st grade teacher this year. I am super excited to share my wishlist with you. My theme is retro so I plan to include a lot of fun things such as smiley faces, rainbows and peace signs. The color scheme is more pinks and oranges. I ordered a bundle from Teacher Pay Teachers, but my Amazon Wishlist has been hard to tackle alone financially.
I am a 6th grade English teacher at Powell Middle School. I teach our inclusion classes which are regular students and Special Ed students mixed in together. This is my 12 year teaching.
My name is Bree, and I teach 4th grade reading. Teachers spend so much money out of pocket, so any little bit helps!
I am a brand new 3rd grade teacher in Virginia. I was previously in the Air Force for 4 years and then a stay at home mom for 5 years, but teaching was always my dream. I’m soo excited to get started and could really use help setting up my first classroom. I really appreciate your support!!
I am a high school special education teacher and I teach English Language Arts. I appreciate your help! Thanks so much!
This will be my 5th year of teaching in 1st grade. It is definitely my favorite grade because they love school. My littles LOVE hands on activities and a space to be creative in any way possible. I always strive to support my students by creating a warm loving environment. My room theme is cactus and my students always say they know my favorite plant.
I teach first grade in Knoxville at AL Lotts Elementary!
My name is Kara Townsend and I’m going into my 5th year teaching here in Knox county! It is my 5th year in first grade at Inskip elementary which is an inner city, title I school. I spend a few hundred dollars each August  just getting the basics each year on name tags, pencil boxes, treasure box items, etc. I especially have to buy all of my own things because we have little parent support at my school. I so appreciate what you are doing by sharing our lists and I just wanted to say thank you so much!! I’ve followed you for years and also went to a Christian school in Knoxville for high school, UT for college, and now live in Knox with a baby so it’s been cool to see your life be so similar to mine! Thank you again for all you do.
My name is Chelsea Marvin and I am a teacher in Nebraska. I’m going into my fourth year of teaching. This year will be quite the change though as I am moving from 1st grade to 4th grade. My students range in needs and academic abilities so making my classroom a welcoming environment is my main priority. I love becoming a family with my students!
I appreciate all you are doing for educators during this time and even being willing to take a look at my list!
My name is Morgan and I am a first grade teacher in Pennsylvania. I’ve been teaching for 6 years but I have been off for the past 1.5 years for an extended maternity leave. I will be returning to my classroom In August! Most of my students are refugee students or students who come from low income families. I don’t have much on my teacher wishlist but the important items on here are the clipboards and games. My students love being able to play games and draw on their whiteboard clipboards. This helps their learning as well as their development of the English language. After visiting my classroom, I was sad to see a lot of my materials were not taken care of during my maternity leave so I’m hoping to gather new clipboards and games so that my kids have something to make them smile. I appreciate your kindness and willingness to support teachers.
This is such a wonderful idea! I currently teach half day integrated preschool special education. What that means is my class is made up of half community peers and half special needs preschool children. The other half of my day I teach self contained preschool. That group is made up of just special Ed preschool kids. My wishlist contains materials that allow my students to enhance their fine motor, gross motor, and speech skills.  I love what I do, my kids, families, and coworkers.
I’m Cala Gray, a school SLP (speech pathologist) in Morristown, Tn. I currently serve two elementary schools grades Pre-k through 5 and then 2 homebound students as well as the alternative school. It is so kind of you to think of people, teachers, during this time. For school SLP’s, the unfortunate part is that we do not get school supplies from students. Sometimes teachers will share tissues or glue sticks with us, but we spend our own money on most supplies. I serve 95 students, so we go through things rather quickly. I do get $100 at the beginning of the year, however, most of it goes to just getting basic things like construction paper or markers. Thank you again for just being so thoughtful.
I am not nominating myself but one of my best friends will be starting teaching for her first year in First Grade in Sevierville!! She doesn’t have a lot of extra money since she is just starting out. She is the sweetest person I know and I can’t wait to watch her become the best teacher.  Here is her link to her classroom list if you pick her! Thanks so much in advance!!
I am Heather Kirkus and this will be my 7th year of teaching. I am moving from 5th grade to a Special Education teacher!! I am also starting at a new school this year! I am so excited to start this new journey. Thank you very much for thinking about teachers and taking your time to share our wishlist. May God bless you and your family! Paulding County School In Georgia.
I live and work in Knoxville, just down the street from Discovery at Cedar Bluff Elementary.  Cedar Bluff is a very diverse population and one of the things I love about my school community.  I am starting my 24th year of teaching this year (all in K or 1) I absolutely love my students and I’m always looking for ways to help them be more successful in school and in life. I have noticed over the past few years that my first grade students need more time spent on fine motor development and how to better interact and problem solve with others. Many of my wish list items are items for crafts, fine motor skills or to encourage cooperative play. I’m always adding great books too- especially ones that feature diversity.
This is for a K-8 school serving 850 students and 110 staff. We are a title 1 school and the only public school in our community. We had a unplanned renovation after Hurricane Florence. So fresh pInt and carpet, but needs some finishing up with decor.
I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life- even have a sign hanging in my classroom that I made when I was 7 that says so! I am teaching 5th grade for the first time after 10 years with fourth graders. I teach at the school that I went to as a child and LOVE my school. Since I am looping (moving up with my current class) I would love to refresh our classroom to make things “new” even though we will be together again this year. Thank you for supporting my passion and my students! I am grateful for any contribution, including prayers for my students!
My name is India Barrett & I’m a first year school counselor (grades k-8). My school is unique and has elementary, middle, and high all in one school. My school is located in Johnson City, TN! I graduated in May and I am so excited to advocate for my students and support their academic, social, and emotional success. School counselors work first hand with students in some really vulnerable and sometimes sad, or scary moments. The list I created has many resources to help students feel more comfortable while in school and within my counseling classroom! Because it is my first year I have little to no supplies and it would be a blessing to me if I was chosen to be shared on your account. Keep letting your light shine!
I’m kindergarten teacher in a small town in Iowa, this is my 7th year in my classroom. Each year I try to add new things to keep learning exciting for my students. Every little bit helps to fund my classroom. Thank you so much for thinking of teachers!
My name is Olivia Welden, and this will be my fourth year as a School Counselor at Sweetwater Elementary School! We are a low-income community that has approximately 90% free/reduced lunch for students. I serve about 300 3rd and 4th grade students! Anyone who knows me knows that my students and being their counselor is everything to me! As their School Counselor, all 300 students come to my class for “Wellness with Welden” each week in addition to serving students for individual and group counseling. Being such a small community with such great needs, funding for my classroom supplies is so extremely limited. And as you can imagine, with having all students in my room each week, supplies go quickly! I do my best to help students reach their goals and see the potential they have within themselves by addressing their social-emotional and academic needs. I always tell my students that since I don’t have children of my own, I have 300 kids! I truly love each of them like they were my own, and I just would love for them to have access to as many resources, books, and activities as possible to make school feel like a place where they are loved and belong! It would mean so much to me if you could share my classroom wish list to help alleviate some of these needs. Thank you for being such a positive light to the Instagram community!
Hi! My name is Amy and I am a 4th grade teacher at a Title 1 school in Missouri. So many of my students need some extra love and attention that may be lacking at home. I get the pleasure of working with some of the strongest and most resilient kids. They never cease to amaze. It’s because of them that I never stop learning how to be better.
I’m a second year teacher, but this will be my first year teaching and running a new Pre-K program in my school! I will teach 4-5 year olds and I’m really trying to get some items I can use to set up centers in my classroom!
My name is Taylor Wells and I’m a third year, third grade teacher at a tiny Title 1 school in North Mississippi! I love teaching and organizing my classroom! It is bright and full of Disney touches. I serve many low income students with different backgrounds, and use a lot of my own money on my classroom. I would LOVE any help on my wishlist…whether it be pencils, glue, books, snacks, or treats! I would be so grateful!
I teach 3rd grade reading at the school I grew up in! It is a title 1 school, so the majority of students home lives are not so great. Most come to school without supplies, backpacks, and necessities to be able to work in a classroom. My teacher friends, or myself and my family always make sure each kid has what they need to succeed. I don’t do it for a pity party or a show, and most people don’t even realize it when I do it. I grew up in a home where I was able to pick out t new school outfits, new shoes, that pretty binder and matching notebook. I just want to give my students somewhere they feel like is a safe place for them to come to school to learn, but most importantly, be loved and feel loved.
I am a first year teacher in Charlotte Mecklenberg Schools. I graduated from UNC Charlotte this past May with a Special Education degree. I will be teaching K-8 General Curriculum Special Education at a title 1 school!

I moved to Minnesota last year for my husband’s job (I’m from Philadelphia) and I now work as a school counselor in North Minneapolis. At the old school I worked at I was a behavior specialist. I love being a counselor but I need to build up my list of supplies. I spent so much of my own money last year buying things I needed…and I’m hoping for some help this year so my out of pocket expenses aren’t too crazy. I really appreciate you sharing our lists! It helps these kids immensely and it’s sad we don’t have the funds on our own to get the materials we need.

I’m Savannah Akers, a first year second grade teacher. I teach in a title 1 school. I’m really looking for the 10 drawer rolling cart, classroom rugs, stem materials, and flexible seating!
I am heading into my fifth year of teaching and my fourth year as a K-4 Autistic and Emotional Support teacher. One of the main reasons I love my role is because I get to work with the same students year after year!
My name is Ashley De Graaf and I teach 4th grade at a low-income school in East Tennessee. I’m going into my seventh year teaching. I’ve also taught 1st and 3rd grade in the past. This is my sixth classroom move in seven years, so that’s been a bit crazy! I really appreciate you doing this for teachers- anything helps and myself, along with my students will be so greatly appreciative of you chose my wishlist to share! 🙂
I work at a small rural school district that serves 11 cities, villages, townships across 160 square miles. I am the Title I reading teacher and I work with students in grades Kindergarten through six grade. Many of our students are living below poverty level and even buying basic school supplies is a struggle. These supplies will help me teach students who are struggling with learning how to read.
My name is Kymberly & I’m am a 4th grade teacher in a small town just outside of Knoxville, TN.
I’m a teacher at a K-5 school near Tampa. Florida. I’m looping with my students and will be teaching 1st grade soon. School starts 8/10 and I’m so excited to be moving up with the same kids.
My name is Casey and I’m a new teacher about to teach 4th grade in Indiana! Thank you so much for doing this!
A little about me, I teach in a title 1, primarily low-income district in Connecticut. This will be my 9th year teaching. I have always taught third grade and I absolutely LOVE the kiddos at this age. We learn so much and have so much fun each day in our classroom.
This year, I will be out on maternity leave for part of the school year as I am expecting our rainbow babe (a baby boy, Luke) in late September. I plan to start the school year with my new class in late August before I go out on maternity leave until the new year. The supplies on my list would be a HUGE help to me as buying for my classroom and a newborn simultaneously is a lot.
I love that you are sharing teacher wish lists! Teachers are the hardest working people I know and they all truly deserve the world! I’m not a teacher, but I’m a school-based occupational therapist, so I work along side teachers every day. I cover multiple schools, working with students (K-4) with special needs. Jumping from school to school, I basically live out of my car or have to buy multiples of everything. It adds up quickly! One of my schools is opening a brand new self-contained classroom for students with Autism this year and we are starting from scratch with supplies and materials. We would love and appreciate any support you or your followers could give! Thanks again for supporting teachers!!!
First, I am a (going into) year three special education  teacher. I actually will be moving to 4-6th grade this year from 9-12 the past two years!
I love my job. My kiddos make me so happy and if there’s one thing I love more than teaching it’s my sweet babies I get to see each day! I always get so many double edged comments when I tell people what I do, but it truly truly truly is my calling, and I don’t believe I’m “special” to get to do this, it’s just truly what I wake up and want to do every day. I’m super nervous for this year because it’s a completely new school system, admin, building & kids- but I’m so excited!! I am ready for a great year!!
I am a Kindergarten teacher in western Illinois at a low income school (AlWood Elementary – school website attached).
These items are a mix of necessities and engaging, fun learning materials for my students.
Thank you SO much for even considering donating/sharing this list. I have spent thousands of dollars of my own money on my classroom thus far, and wish I could continue to buy every item myself, but it is not financially feasible. Thank you thank you thank you!
I am a second grade teacher at a private school in Asheville, NC. I would love it if some of the items on my list were sent to me. Our school doesn’t give us money to spend on our classroom at the beginning of the year, so it would be a huge blessing if you could help out. If not, thank you anyway.
My name is Baylie Smith and this is my third year teaching 2nd grade! I truly love teaching and buying things for my classroom, but it can get so expensive! I think I spend at LEAST $600 at the beginning of the school year each year! There’s no telling how much I spend throughout the year! I teach in a low income area in Southern Alabama, so I always want to make sure I have everything the kids need! My husband and I have been married for a year and a half and we JUST finished building our first home!
